Groups of 20 or more are required to have a reservation. A maximum group of 60 is permitted. Before placing a reservation request, please check the online calendar to see if the date you are looking for is available or already booked. Reservations must be made 2 weeks or more in advance of the event date.
Reservations will only be accepted for Residents of the New Albany Park District over the age of 18. Residents live in the New Albany School District. New Albany Parks and Recreation reserves the right to ask for proof of residency.
Please note that in order to see the most up to date information on availability, you must choose the calendar, then filter by the facility you wish to reserve. If you see a green reserve button it is available. It the space is blank, it it not available.

Thompson Park is a great destination for sports enthusiasts. There are 65 acres offering tennis and basketball courts, walking trails, a playground, and full-size athletic fields.
The pavilion at Thompson Park has 6 large picnic tables, seating for 36 adults or 48 children. The pavilion will seat up to approximately 60 people, with the addition of your own table and chairs. It is located a short walk from the playground and restrooms.
A $100 or $50 refundable cleaning deposit is required to be paid at the time of the reservation. This is in addition to the rental fee. If the pavilion is clean and no damage has occurred, the deposit will be refunded. Disregarding any of the facility rules will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

Wexner Community Park features a charming pavilion with a fireplace, serving kitchen, refrigerator, restrooms, and adjacent multi-age playground. This 2.5 acre park is a lovely venue for family gatherings as well as civic and community events. The park grounds include the Davis Commons formal lawn and the Karr Family Pergola.
The pavilion offers 6 large picnic tables which will seat up tp 36 adults or 48 children. The pavilion will seat approximately 60 people, with the addition of your own table and chairs. Restrooms and a serving kitchen are located within the pavilion. A fireplace is available for guests to provide their own firewood.

We are accepting reservations for Residents. A resident is defined as residing within the New Albany-Plain Local School District.
Events canceled due to inclement weather may be rescheduled at the NA Parks office for no additional fee and subject to availability. Fees will not be refunded if event is canceled less than 2 weeks prior to scheduled reservation. Fees will not be refunded if event is canceled due to inclement weather and cannot be rescheduled.

New Albany Parks & Recreation reserves the right to deny use of district parks and facilities to groups who fail to comply with the rules and regulations set forth below. It is understood that the group/organization using the above park/facility will comply with the laws of the State of Ohio and Village of New Albany, and all rules and regulations set forth by New Albany Parks & Recreation.

No selling or solicitation of goods or services without written approval from the Director.
Any groups that abuse a facility or violate rules and regulations will not be issued any future permits, and charges for damage and cleaning will be assessed.
