The Business Manager provides leadership and oversight of all areas of business administration. Work includes directing and coordinating district administrative and human resources areas, including workforce recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. The position is involved in managing the overall financial system, including governmental fund accounting, purchasing, operating and capital budgets, accounts payable, payroll and financial reporting. This involves preparing and monitoring budgets and financial projections, and performing research and analysis to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.  The individual in this position reports to the agency director and serves as part of executive leadership of the agency. The individual assists in leading a team of support staff and provides supervision, coaching and feedback in creating a high-performing team. The Business Manager will supervise the Marketing and Events Manager.
